Hang on to your hat. I believe that every hat deserves to be cared for and cherished as a long-term investment. To this end, I operate a recovery and rescue service for old and unloved hats, breathing new life into battered hand-me-downs and crushed-up crowns.
On a case-by-case basis, I may be able to: reblock & restyle materials into new shapes; replace & renew trims; fix & repair; clean & steam, and, in some instances, resize, hats of all vintages that are in need of a lift. I am the proud custodian of a beautiful Edwardian Era hat stretcher – always a talking point – to assist me in this labour of love.
